OK, so it’s going to take more than 24 hours to ditch an addiction but we’ve all got to trial it and start somewhere, so tomorrow I’m ditching my Diet Coke addiction.

NO DIET COKE for 24 hours (all day tomorrow).

Today we had some family photos taken while K6 is still only little.  6 weeks old today and he has changed so much since his birth.  It was a challenge getting 6 kids & a hubby organised for photo day, however, we managed with the combo of rather ‘excitable’ tired children, an alert and sometimes hungry baby, and a very patient Kim Selby whom arose to the challenge and spent two solid hours with our family in our own home & backyard.  Thank you Kim!  We look forward to seeing the results!   (NB: Here is a sneak peak of our photo shoot added 9th May 2009 - Love them!)

Also now that K6 is 6 weeks old today he is doing lots of gooing and ga’ing and smiling big smiles.  So cute!  I wonder what he’s trying to say?  This is what I found in the wiktionary.  I’ve been gooing and ga’ing back at him - perhaps I shouldn’t be according to Babies Online. 

I apologise in advance for the gruesomeness of this post, however, I was intrigued, and this is one of the ‘perks’ of living next door to the in-laws, of which FIL was a Science teacher - hence the appreciation of this speciman!

This is the wonderfully preserved skeletal remains of a rat found up near our shed! I was most intrigued and I think I’ll even encourage our rat friend to go and do the rounds of show and tell!
