A trip to Canberra with our new family of 8?
Now that we have a new bundle of joy - born on 27th March 2009 (he will be known as K6 for blogging purposes) it’s time to get back to some serious blogging and refocussing on Family Value. We are soon to get another new arrival - our new 9 seater VW Caravelle, and to celebrate we are planning to go on a family adventure to Canberra! Why Canberra? I have never been to Canberra, DH has and I think it will be a fun (and educational) adventure for the whole family! Besides that I believe there are lots of freebie attractions. Am I right? or deluded?Â
So, first things first - accommodation for our family. Where will we stay? So far, these are accommodation places I have found with 3 or 4 bedrooms that will accommodate all 8 of us. Kingston Terrace Serviced Apartments , Pinnacle Apartments , Bentley Suites , Parklands Apartment Hotel , Breakfree Capital Tower , Griffin Hotel , Medina Classic Canberra Which one should we choose? I would love to hear of experiences, both good and bad that anyone has had at any of these.Â
This is all the accommodation I could find in Canberra that could cater for our family. Do you know of any others that would accommodate us?

Yes Canberra is great. Lots of things to do and all fairly close. We’ve been there twice over the new year. Not busy as that time. Kids loved Questacon, Mint, AIS, walks around Lake Burlie, Telstra tower, Splash ? outdoor pool, war memorial and parliament house. We enjoyed eating Indian and at Hogs Breath. Will think of other things to tell you.
